First Service

I took my 2016 F type R in for its first service today. Mileage was 17,900 kilometers (Canada). They asked me if there was anything I particularly wanted them to check - after thinks ng about it I realized the answer was no. They then performed the service - changed the oil, topped up washer fluid, checked tyres and brakes plus many other things and all were in green. I have taken my car to the track twice and pounded it pretty hard so this was all good news. The first service was free and they said " we will see yiu when you hit 40000 km. Wow - what a trouble free kick in the ass car to own - way more fun that my 911. Also - I have to say - my sound system is awesome. To thise who complain about it I would advise - make sure the input quality (music files) is high - AC/DC at Lmost maximum volume with good quality input is amazing. Who knows - maybe I just got a good one. I love this car and would highly recommend it over a Porsche. The 911 may be a nimbler sports car around a track in the hands of a professional but this car is capable of much more than I am and is way mire fun than my 911. Plus the 911 is a dime a dozen on every corner anyway. Additionally the same perfofmance as the F Type in a Porsche would have cost another 40,000 Canadian.
 
That's great news. i like it when people use the cars for their intended use rather than just clean them. The track days sound just the ticket and the fact your car is trouble free is encouraging for us all. Enjoy !!
 
This is what I like about this forum. It's a real reflection of owning these cars with lots of positive posts as well as hearing from those with issues. Quite often, forums mainly attract the negative aspects. <br><br>Hmmm, I think I'll be playing those AC/DC tracks on the ipod tomorrow, just seems to fit nicely with blasting around in dynamic mode :) <br>
