The first images have emerged of the eagerly anticipated Jaguar F-type coupé, sourced from a leaked patent file for the design.<div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/1/coupe1.jpg" height="463" width="700" border="0" /><br><div><br></div><div>Its appearance closely matches that of the C-X16 concept seen in 2011. The sloping rear window clearly evokes the E-type and further emphasises its broad haunches, giving the coupé a more muscular stance than the standard F-type. From the A-pillar forward, it appears identical to the open F-type.</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/1/coupe2.jpg" height="463" width="700" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Four exhausts would suggest this rendering is of the flagship 488bhp V8 S coupé. The engine range should mirror that of the F-type roadster, meaning the 335bhp V6 and 375bhp V6 S will also be available. The car is likely to be fitted with the roadster's eight-speed automatic gearbox, although Jaguar previously suggested a manual transmission may be offered in the future.</div><div><br></div><div>The F-type coupé is expected to arrive in showrooms next year so expect a motor show debut in production form later in 2013.</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/1/coupe3.jpg" height="463" width="700" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Source: Autocar; http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/jaguar-f-type-coupe-design-leaked</div></div><div><br></div><div>Let us know what you think below; </div>
