Hi all

Quick check to see how many cars still have the dynamic mode memory function. Ie if you have been in dynamic mode and you kill the ignition, if you restart the car within 6 hours you won’t have to select dynamic mode again upon ignition - it remembers.

Edited: Every car had this feature. Also listed in the handbook. Some software updates have removed on some cars.

Any car that had H136 update applied won't remember dynamic mode after an ignition cycle.

I believe this applied from MY18 and onwards but was missed on most MY18 cars. I stand to be corrected here but I think....

MY17 and older should remember dynamic mode.
MY18 and newer should forget dynamic mode after an ignition cycle but some MY18 may not of had H136 applied.

The yes / no vote won't show you which MY obviously.

Interesting, I was expecting a query on MY17. I've never seen H136 on a MY15 or MY16. PM me a reg plate of one that forgets and I'll have a look.

Sadly, mine wasn't one of the missed. And all because my load cover had to be replaced ... :(

Mine also, during a replacement module for “Sos limited function”.

I can sort of understand (but don't agree with) updating soiftware if new modules are fitted, but updating software when just opening the boot and changing the load cover is taking the pee a bit.

This campaign would have been listed on the job sheet prior to the commencement of any work on your car. You can refuse to have it done.

It wasn’t listed on mine nor did I give consent. Although in theory you’re correct.

That's naughty.
Mine was listed, we discussed it, I informed them I didn't want it done, put a line through the item on the jobsheet, no problem.
