Does buying maps give you navigation pro?

Hi Everyone,
Simple ask, my three years is up , if I purchase maps for an additional year, does that automatically give me connected navigation pro? Kind regards in advance.

I don't have a Here subscription but my nav seems to know about real-time traffic conditions. I assumed all the subscription gives you is updates to the maps. Feel free to correct my misconceptions ....

I've just had a look at my Jaguar.here account and yes it does.

Things that it lists are:
Satellite view
Sync journeys across devices and vehicle
Share estimated arrival time with friends and family
Live up to the minute routing
Real time traffic
Fuel locations
Parking locations

I've never been aware of most of it. The only thing I really notice is the fixed and average speed camera locations get updated with the map refreshes ( most obvious for those that are part of roadworks).

The 3 year maps package at £129 is better value than £89 for 1 year. I renewed the Ubigi SIM at £58 for a year the last couple of times too. Software updates don't use any data allowance on this and it's Europe wide roaming (some day I'll do a trip to northern Spain or something)

Thanks mick & scm, thanks I’ll buy three years, I’ll have to download at a library as I do not have a main home computers just IPads~ I’ll need a dongle, any idea what storage would be needed to download~ it’s such a shame that privi pro wasn’t put in the face lift F type as that’s SOTA I think.

The map updates are usually 33Gb so unfortunately a 64Gb memory stick is needed. The server is pretty slow and even with a fast connection you're typically waiting 40 minutes to an hour to download.

I've found that the memory sticks only seem to last three or four downloads or so (SanDisk). Pretty common for them to go wrong from what I've read online. It does get mega hot after being plugged into the car doing the update, though.

With my MY2016 nav system, even with updated maps it isn't as good as Google maps or Waze. So I've a phone clamp for my longer journeys, or my missus navigates by Google.
