Hi all,<br /><br />What sort of discounts have people managed to get on second hand F Types?<br /><br />Going to see one on Saturday, just wondering how much I should be looking to get knocked off?<br /><br />Cheers<br /><br />Nick

I didn't get much off initially, but effectively got about 3k off once I'd got them to throw in a few things and negotiated up the price of my trade in.

Thanks for the info.<div><br></div><div>I noticed they are offering two years warranty on second hand cars, some dealers are even offering two years servicing at the moment. I am also keen to push them on the PCP APR, most seem to be around 10.9%, but have found a Jag Dealer offering 5.9%.</div>

That's a pretty good discount!<div><br></div><div>I'm hoping to use the release of the new version as a bargaining tool, plus there is a similar spec'd car at another dealer so might be able to play them off one another. I know the other dealer recently dropped the price, so must be struggling to shift it on.</div>

<div> </div><div>Get hold of a Glass guide, Cap or my last choice would be Parkers </div><div> </div><div> </div>Prices are all negotiable, and it's down to your negotiating skills and determination, but discount can be considerable.<div> </div><div> </div>

Autotrader values are meant to be taken from Glass Guide, the car is priced slap bang in the middle of the range they state.<div><br></div><div>Interestingly, the trade in value they state for my car is about £5k-£7k over what I am being offered from other dealers.</div>

<div><br></div><div>I'm also after a used car but don't want to pay APR at 10.9%.</div><div><br></div><div>Someone else on here suggested alternate finance - so I've lined up Oracle Finance for when I do find the car I want.</div>

<blockquote>I bought my car as a 12 week old demo with 107 miles on the clock, it was specd up at £76k and paid £58k</blockquote>
<div><br></div><div>Wow!</div><div>And How?</div><div><br></div><div>Car I want is spec'd at just over £80k, 2k miles (it's a demonstrator), and they want just under £70k.</div><div><br></div><div>My absolute ceiling is £65k with a good trade in for mine.</div>

I was searching for a while, had my Cayman to PX. Eventually I found a car I was interested in so basically spoke to the dealer over the phone as I was 2 hours from them, negotiated a deal over the phone pending the viewing of the f type and my px. Following week I travelled to the dealer, gave them my Porsche, drove the f type home. Job done.
