Bright Yellow Drip Marks on Garage Floor

I haven't used my F-Type for about a month and took it out for an afternoon drive with the roof down. On arriving back home I noticed the garage floor had 4 or 5 small areas where something had dripped on to the garage floor. These were at the front of the car and there were 2 or 3 more towards at the rear of the car.

I can't for the life of me work out what they could be. All the fluid levels are fine and the A/C blows ice cold.

The only thing I did different when I last parked it up last time, was to give the car a mini wash - bottom half only and I wondered if the drip marks were related to this?

Soot from condensation in the exhaust pipe? Or A/C drips? Not sure about yellow, though.

Could be condensation from your exhaust valves. I spotted that after my recent Modstock valve replacement but they confirmed that’s completely normal, which would be closer to the diff area you saw a few spots of liquid

The yellow is odd. Given the washer filler is in the boot, have you added a yellow coloured screen wash and (I’m still a novice here) does the pipe work travel anywhere near the area you are concerned with?

That's a good point. I've not added any washer fluid since I bought the car earlier in the year but it could be that. Further investigation work required.

Since I parked up yesterday afternoon there are no more drip marks evident.

It's happening again.

I wonder if It's washer fluid leaking out?

Prestone washer Fluid, and the official Jaguar bottle I was given one service are both that shade of yellow.

That's my thought too.

I took it up to my local Jag dealer earlier and asked if they could take a look sometime. They offered to do it there and then but the technician said he couldn't see any evidence underneath the car.

I think what has happened is they topped up the fluid at the last service (a month ago) and it's gradually leaked out (although there is still washer fluid in the system) and dried up.

Over Christmas I'll top up the fluid again and crawl underneath the car to see if I can see it dripping. If that's the issue I'll book it in again and tell them to top up the washer fluid before looking for a leak.

The plot thickens but I think I now understand what's happening.

Following the most recent check by the local Jag dealer I noticed a blue-ish coloured liquid near the driver's front wheel. It looks like washer fluid and it appears to be leaking from under the car somewhere in that area.

There is a damp area from where the black side skirt meets the underbody (as per photo).

I'll get it booked into Jag again and ask them to fill up the washer fluid before checking this time.

I'm still confused as to what the yellow stains on the garage floor relate to though.
