Showing my age here but black and white photography can look so much better than colour at times, like it.

Ah, and there's me thinking that red colour cars shouldn't fade in the sun like they used to :D

What kit did you buy?
Started with a Box Brownie from my granddad and Standard 8 cine - moved on to a bunch of Canon lenses on a 7D MkII.
We might need a separate thread on F-Type photography tips if we carry on...

I think you're all getting over excited..

It probably is a compact 20MP modern camera... ... anything but a phone.. ;)

I bought one like that for my Alpine tour, could have made perfect Jaguar pictures, if I had been in North America instead..

There are apps for smartphones that let you turn any image on your phone into sepia.. .. the yellowish ancient photo effect..

I’d always wanted a decent SLR and spent a few quid on a Canon 600d and a bag of kit.
Carried it around, played with settings and then along came the better iPhones and a different way I use photos
Now with IPhone X and all the built in functions for photos and video I would never dream of carrying an SLR again
I know when done properly you can get a better picture, but I was never ready for that picture..

Car looks great!

Camera wise I have an iPhone X, but my friend has just got a Huawei P30 Pro and the camera / picture quality is unbelievable. A huge step up vs an iPhone

Yeah, the Huawei is the photographers' phone. Chinese security risks notwithstanding. ;)

If you look at the EXIF of the photo it's a Canon EOS 1300D | 32mm F5 1/100 ISO100 | 2019:07:12 20:22:17...

if you take a photo with your phone remember to turn of the location services or we all get to see your GPS location :o :o :o

Or resize it for the web and delete the EXIF data. ;)
