Boot inspection

Hi all,

Was just checking the boot after being away for a few weeks. With all the rain wanted to make sure there's no water ingress.

Found this white little plug just sitting at the bottom of the boot? Not noticed it before. Looks like it should go somewhere though, could anyone shed some light on it?

Probably the one that's used when the car is originally transported from new. They leave that one loose, just to confuse and worry us subsequent owners!

Yes, it's supposed to be disconnected and is for the battery isolation transit relay as explained here...https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=61186#p61186

Always a good idea to do that...especially if the car is kept outside in the elements! I've done the same after the recent spell of wet weather and glad everything is ok.

Totally agree, this is the second f type I've owned and the first one MY2013 was terrible for it. Ended up costing me a lot of money for new roof motors and arms
