Hi guys, name is wayne and glad to be part of this community. Ive just done a deal on a V6-S Convertible after test driving one last Saturday. Was blown away by it so my 2014 cayman 981 is going. Can't wait for Saturday to arrive. The f type I test drove isn't the one I'm buying as it wasn't specced to what I wanted so after some more searching found the exact car I was after. 2016 registered 30th June, 177 miles on it with some great options. Will post up pics when I get chance, cheers

Congrats; I've not had mine 2 weeks and also stepped out of a Porsche. Look forward to seeing the pics and hopefully the weather will hold!

Yep - and if you're anything like me you'll have read and re-read the brochure 100 times. I can recommend looking at the online owners manual to kill a bit of time and build the excitement!

Congratulations mate, she looks awesome!

And from one Cayman to F-Type converter to another, you won't be disappointed! Must be something about the lure of it in white!

I'm suprised you went for the convertible from the cayman though... thoughts?
Thanks buddy, I used to have a S2000 many moons ago and loved the sound of it with the hood down. With the noise of these f types and the posing factor of a drop top then it had to be a convertible for me this time.

Fair enough! I test drove a convertible V6S before buying the coupe, and completely agree with your reasoning, the sound is awesome still in the coupe but is dampened compared to the raw direct sound you get with roof down....

My way around it is just drive faster, more revs, more sounds!
