I have a bit of free time over this festive period and was wondering what car events (Jaguar only or otherwise) might be happening? Might drive to Podium Place (Newbury) tomorrow just because unless someone can suggest a better option?

Latest Chris Slix video mentions a head gasket failure on his SVR…..slightly worrying! I don’t recall every reading about the Jaguar V8 having this problem so perhaps it’s a one off or certainly very rare…but has anyone else had a head gasket fail?

When looking for my car it took a while to work out what exterior carbon pack meant given that all SVRs have a carbon rear spoiler. So, I have taken some photos of all my carbon bits for your viewing pleasure! Please excuse the residual snow foam on the ground.

Decided to treat the car to a birthday present - a smart new mat for the boot from Jaguar accessories. Seems to be good quality.

In case anyone was wondering (as I was this morning!) if a 22” F- pace wheel would fit in the boot of an F-type, the answer is yes! Fits very nicely.

I bought a cover from specialised covers - only just put it on so cannot comment on long term performance but it certainly fits well - the shape even allows for SVR spoiler

A great day out - wasn’t able to park with the group but nevertheless a fantastic collection of jags. I reckon I’ve worked out who might own this beauty… And anyone know what the story is with this - looked brand new??
